Gabby grinned crookedly and laughed a little at his comments about the grilled cheese and tomato soup. She thought that he was going to turn out to be just another regular old douche bag but for now he was proving her wrong. She wasn't about to prematurely pass judgement over him and hadn't quite ruled out awarding him the status of ultimate douche bag some day.
"Not tonight, lover boy," she smirked to herself and paid no attention to what he was doing at the car as she kept walking until she found a spot she liked. Apparently her spot wasn't prime though, so she rolled her eyes before she turned around and saw he was at a different spot. She backtracked a little and looked down at Seth already laying down on the blanket.
Gabby didn't know why but the whole picture of him laying on the blanket with the picnic basket and the beach setting made her blush a little. It was a good thing that the sun wasn't still out otherwise she would have been thoroughly embarrassed and definitely would have denied that she was blushing if he questioned it. After taking it in for a hot second, Gabby sat down on the blanket with the basket separating the two of them. One leg was crossed over the other and she propped herself up with her arms behind her.
"So why were you so adamant about going out with me? Most guys would have been embarrassed to show their face to the girl who had to take care of them when they were a hot mess." She smiled but bit her lower lip at the same time. There was no way Gabby was going to let Seth live that one down, at least for the next few weeks anyways.
