When the bar tender finally made his way over, Gabby smiled. She was thirsty as hell and really just wanted water but then the bartender leaned over the bar and told her that the gentleman at the end of the bar was putting her drinks on his tab. She quirked an eyebrow as she looked around the barkeep and glanced at the man who the bartender had motioned to before leaning back and ordering a rum and coke.
Gabby took a sip from her drink and made her way over to Seth. Gabby wasn't just walking over to him but slinking. She recognized that he was a bit ballsy to be sending her a drink, so he deserved at least a minute of her time. But what was she supposed to say to him? Thank you? That was hardly her way of dealing with men. But this one was cute and had some chutzpahs.
When she finally stood next to him, she raised her glass to return the 'cheers.' Even though she was standing still, her dress was still moving and shimmering in the light. As the light reflected off of her dress and onto Seth, she looked him up and down. She definitely didn't recognize him from around. "You're new here." It was more of a statement than a question. Gabby leaned her back against the bar as she crossed her arms.
