Who: Elliot and Jimmy
What: Elliot finally figures out his powers
When: Today (before powers stop working, obviously)
Where: At the country club
Rating: PG-13+
Aside from some of the bizarre looks he had been getting, things seemed to have calmed down for Elliot as of late. He hadn't had his cousin's girlfriend-friend-person-thing jump his bones. He hadn't randomly kissed (he was unwilling to refer to it as making out, although that's exactly what it was) his good friend who was also in a relationship. He had been going to swim practice, going to class, and going to work without much event, and, quite frankly, he was thrilled about it. It may not have been the most exciting existence, but it was a safe and predictable one, and that was exactly what Elliot needed right about now.
At the moment, Elliot was on towel duty, which meant he needed to clear out the hampers and replace the missing towels on the shelf with the newly cleaned ones. Some of his co-workers teased him about it, but Elliot was meticulous when he folded up his towels. The edges of the stacks all lined up perfectly, neat enough to be done by a machine. It may have taken him a while longer, but honestly, it wasn't as if there were more exciting things to do elsewhere. Serving drinks to the older ladies poolside just wasn't going to appeal to a 21 year old boy.
He was almost finished folding the new towels when he heard someone approaching, and he looked up to greet them with a small smile. "Hello," he greeted. "Need a towel?" He extended one of his perfectly folded towels out for him. "Just cleaned. Lucky you."
