WHO: Mal Swafford and OTA
WHAT: [Summer OTA] Mal backs up her car into another car. But it wasn't her fault!
WHEN: Thursday at noon.
WHERE: Parking lot of the courthouse.
RATING: PG-13 for Mal's colorful mouth. :)

Two hours. Did no one in this world have common courtesy any more? Mal had been waiting for two hours at the courthouse for an attorney to bring her a written deposition. The meeting had been scheduled for 10:30, and Mal was early. Now, it was nearing her lunch hour. She was not pleased. There were few things that one did not do to Mallorie Swafford. One of them was leave her waiting. It just didn't happen. There were consequences to such actions, and they were not pretty.

A phone call and a verbal whiplash later, Mal was storming out of the courthouse. She stomped her feet as she went, still cursing out the unprofessional attorney that had called to reschedule two hours after he was supposed to show up. Mal was besides herself. She could have spit fire if that was at all possible. Indeed, she was already making crude plans to invade his dreams with perhaps a dose of that Mal Swafford charm before leaving him to fall in a pit of his own despair.

Ah yes, the mental pictures of just such an event had clouded Mal's mind as she got into her car. Driving was something that required little to no concrete thought. However, there was still something very important that Mal was not doing... paying attention. She pulled the car in reverse and slid her foot off the brake pedal. The thought of the attorney swimming in his own vomit made her smirk just in time feel the car jerk and stop suddenly.

"Mother of..."

She peeked up at her rear view mirror, and sure enough, she had just backed into a car. Yes, this day was sure turning into a fabulous one.
