Who: Tino and Mia What: some cryin' When: today seems like as good a time as any around dusk Where: the beach (all my chars are at the beach today)
Tino hadn't allowed himself to be upset. Not in a while, anyways. That first day, he'd gone home immediately and hit some things. He'd also expressed himself to his brother, Toni, about how unfair he felt it was that his best friend and the best person he knew, had cancer. But now...now it didn't seem to be getting better and he wasn't sure what to say to Penny or anyone about it. He was even going to resort to going to church with Brooke to see if that helped. He knew Penny was Jewish, but wasn't it the same God? He wasn't sure. He'd probably have to ask Brooke on Sunday.
Now, though... now he could be upset. He was alone. It was getting dark out. And he was in a seemingly quiet and unoccupied place. Puddle Hop beach rarely saw beachgoers because of its rocky sand. It was perfect for the boy to sit and mope and think about life-- all of which he was doing. His eyes were just starting to glaze over at the thought of Penny possibly dying, when he heard a crunch of feet on sand and pebbles. He turned and saw the last person he wanted to see like this: Mia. Fuck.
