Who: Josie and OPEN
Where: The track
When: Monday night
What: Josie finally tests her speed
Rating: TBD
Status: In-Progress
After another wonderfully normal afternoon with Alex, Josie decided the time had finally come. She had to test how fast she was. Sam's words echoed in her head, '...you sure as hell moved fast for such a skinny ass thing. I don't think you're everything you pretend to be.' She shook her head before she started to stretch, what did he know anyway, nothing. She's normal, she's just a normal girl...well she had an awesome personality, but besides that she was completely normal. She decided to go to the track late at night, so that no jerks would be around to hassle her and distract her from her goal. Also if what Sam was right and she was too fast then no one would be around to call her a freak.
Once she was sure she'd stretched enough, she attached her step counter and as soon as she started the stop watch she was off. Josie did sprints on the track team so she was used to breaking into a full fledged run within seconds. The scenery was flying by her, but it seemed like nothing new. She did notice she was rounding the tracks faster than normal, but nothing inhumanly so. After a few minutes she stopped and stopped her stop watch, 'two minutes, good.' She took off her step counter and checked it. There was no way, 'this just isn't possible...' The numbers didn't match. 'It must be fluke that's it,' she reset both and reattached her step counter. She started her stopwatch again and once again broke into a run. What Josie didn't know was that what seemed perfectly normal to her almost looked like a blur making it's way around the track to anyone else.
