"I just wouldn't sing in front of Johnny right now. Tired enough and he might say that you're the third worst act he's ever heard." Frye Island Idol was a difficult game when you have someone who was possibly worse than Simon Cowell ever dreamed of being. He said it the way he saw it, which was possibly something that the cousins shared. Annie really hated the idea of ever being on either of their bad sides. Well... Maybe not Johnny's as long as she still had Penny to hide behind as needed. Now that she was likely going to get better, Annie was expecting a tirade on not making Penny go to a doctor before now and overworking her. "It's New York City. I think half the population is Jewish." Or everything she had ever seen about NYC made it sound that way.
"You wanted to go work at Elwoods though?" not that she really had an issue with any of them. Daddy did not seem like the nicest person around, but perhaps she was also just used to the craziness of her own dad and having been around the Baileys enough. "I don't know. You never really struck me as much of a gym person. Sure it was just all office work type stuff. I also can't judge how easy or difficult it is to actually do the rock climbing stuff considering I've never tried." Penny would probably make it look easy if they thought she could do it. Annie loved her best friend, but she was not a very physical presence.
"I don't know what we could do for the Space Station. I'd have to ask Jacen about that." And of course trying to convince anyone that Penny needed medical bills covered would be a bit of a laugh. The Zimmermans might not come off as rich, but they certainly had enough money to take care of their kids and spoil them rotten if they wanted. "I could probably double however much we made if there's any more betting pools on Lexie... Then we could donate all over the place."
