"I'm sure someone will warn whoever is keeping an eye on you at the time. Or at least a nurse if they don't let you have your phone soon. There's still plenty of summer left for tailgating the paid ones..." He didn't like the way she had put that though. Like she wasn't going to be getting out of there any time soon and be spending her entire summer in a hospital room instead of enjoying just some time hanging out on the beach with friends or watching old movies in his apartment. If she even wanted to do that any more.
He tried not to roll his eyes and moved the chair over by her and just rested his hand on the bed rail plenty within her reach. Spoilsport. It had partly been her mind at the wedding he had been blocking out considering he wasn't all that fond of seeing himself through her eyes. It had only made the whole thing feel worse than it already was. I'm not censoring you here. Actually wondering what the heck you thought I was going to be able to do filling anyone's shoes. Or feathers. Whatever. I might know a lot, but I also don't keep a grand eye on all that goes on around the island. Not to mention the number of people who probably sent in little factoids that only needed the slightest bit of fact checking if anything at all.
Physical for all the usual stuff. Eyes, ears, syphilis... There was the smallest bit of a smirk that went across his lips finding it was hard to keep a straight face even when he wasn't talking about it. All clean. He wasn't sure if that didn't give her some sort of indication on where they kind of stood at the moment. At least he didn't think he would be mentioning all of that just to clear her mind that he was healthy. She wasn't a mind reader though unless he pushed it on her. "Same place we were with less secrets between us now? I'm not saying I'm not still a little mad, but you also make a good case. Possibly for an insanity plea, but still a good case."
