"See? You've got it down already." Annie wouldn't say that Penny was not sounding at her best singing voice but that was to be expected when she had probably just gotten a drink of water not long before all of the company started showing up. "Just make sure it's kosher. Then maybe I just have something for Hebrew National hot dogs and not wondering where they got the meat." Though of course now she was just getting hungry for a hot dog...
"He was putting up a good fight to beat me in here." Annie hadn't taken that as a bad sign though with all things considered. Maybe she was just bad at reading people. "Hmmm... Kaylee brought coffee and looking like she had barely slept herself and he wasn't too far behind. Maybe around noon yesterday? If he ever went home to shower it must have been while I was gone today but he doesn't look like it." Or smell like it as far as she was concerned. Worrying was one thing, but there was still something called personal hygiene that he could manage too. No matter how bad off things were.
"Sometimes. Katie's really great there though and not like some of the guys about having to work longer hours to do inventory and make sure we don't have people stealing stuff and changing out to the new clothes while putting the older stuff on sale. Then I think I would rather be working with seven-year-olds than some of the people around there." She had job security though for as long as she wanted to keep it and continued to do well on sales. "Maybe we need to have a carnival to raise money for something... Roller coaster would be harder, but we could probably get a Ferris Wheel. I don't know for what though. Other than our totally awesome plans of Julliard and all."
