She shrugged. "I doubt he will. Has he been here long? Does he actually want to see me?" Penny had to be sure what she was supposed to be expecting. He could still be mad at her. He could just be here because they hadn't officially broken up, and perhaps, this was the last straw on the camel's back. Nothing said 'not the right girl for you' like two days in a hospital.
"I would like that. High school drama is so overrated. Then, there isn't much difference when you leave high school either. I'm sure you see it at the store. I see it all the time at the paper. It's like they're still little kids sometimes." She tugged at some of the paintings Annie was holding and started to look them over in more depth. "Not sure about a roller coaster, but I will definitely ride the Ferris Wheel."
