The room had been decorated to specifications throughout the morning with Eleanor Ellis knowing how to just glare in the right direction to make sure everything had been set up properly. The candles in the centerpieces were to be lit at exactly three thirty while everyone was still going through the receiving line to give well-wishes to the newlyweds. Salads were already placed at each setting before the guests reached their tables. Dinner would be served promptly at four with either steak or chicken depending on what had been requested (there had also been other allowances for special diets. It didn't seem like much of a party if some of the guests were unable to eat anything). Toasts would be given, though the only alcohol was from the cash bar.
After dinner, the music started up leaving the dance floor open for everyone to enjoy spending time with each other. The tables were left for people to sit and talk if they'd forgotten their dancing shoes, but hopefully everything would go fine.
