Lucky for Mia, Sam was the type to really just take things at face value. He didn't like rumors, didn't pay attention to gossip, and really wasn't afraid of ex-boyfriends, and--let's face it--he was a bit bigger than Tino anyway. He could take him. Not that he would. Only if it was necessary.
"Hey," he smiled brightly when she finally opened the door. He was glad she hadn't invited him in quite yet. (Sure he wasn't afraid of ex-boyfriends but big families and older brothers were a bit more intimidating. He was working his way up to it) He looked around when she did and nodded in agreement, "It's been a pretty beautiful day." He held out his hand for her to take, "And we've still got a few hours of sunlight."
