Annie wasn't quite sure what to make of Emily's attitude here lately. As long as it actually stuck around then it was a good thing. She might have considered Emily competition at one point, but she hoped she hadn't come across ever as trying to rub that in Emily's face. Perhaps teased about her and the "break up", but it was never anything that she would have said right to the other girl. Hell, she was still surprised she'd gotten up the nerve enough to suggest that there might have been something weird going on with Sam. She wanted Emily to be happy, just not with her Jacen and for it to be something that wasn't constant "so very much in love" after about a week. Something odd was going on around here, but there was enough to worry about just being a teenager without getting into the idea of weird powers.
Admittedly she wasn't sure what she was going to think with Emily's music. Asking Jacen for the CDs though just seemed like a move that could come across as jealousy and with a week to Senior Prom they did not need a repeat of last month. No matter what though, she was likely going to be the Paula Abdul to Johnny's Simon Cowell regardless. It probably helped that she was in a good mood even after working all morning and already made sure there were plenty of liquids in the house and that Alfie hadn't emptied out the cookie jar. Now she just had to see if Emily called needing directions (which in this town was pretty much just alternating going left and right until you just ended up where you wanted to go. All seemed well as the doorbell rang and sent Annie jumping off the sofa to answer.
"Hey, you found it!" She smiled and let Emily get in the door before shutting it again. "Shoes off by the door, please, and Andrea is probably curled up in my room. You're not allergic to cats at all, are you?" That was something she probably should have checked beforehand.
