Antonio/Emily
Antonio wasn't sure he really wanted to know what was going in the cups. The less he knew, the less he had to deny later when his mom possibly asked him what he had been up to. "Alright then. No mentioning what you're trying to forget so much. You just kind of look like someone ran over your dog. And considering I'm usually a fan of dogs, that would also make me a little sad to know." Maybe as long as it wasn't just one that liked trying to rip your face off for fun.
"You really need to start finding your crowd then if this one isn't cheering you up a bit." Then he also didn't know that she hadn't come here all sad, but that it was a result of the party crowd making her sad. "Or find what makes you happy. And high school parties are usually the fun ones that don't involve coffee and discussing Alexander Pope." He finished off his straight coke though before tossing his cup into the garbage. "Come on and dance with me. I'm not going to be satisfied until I get one real smile out of you." He grinned a little bit while offering her a hand.
