Who: Penny and Savannah
What: Random/Awkward Run In
When: Monday at lunch
Where: Moses Pearson High School
Rating: TBA
It was mystery meat day. Yes, the year was almost up, and the cafeteria ladies still had it in their minds to poison off the student population before the year was up. Good thing Penny rarely ate the food from the cafeteria. For one, she didn't trust that certain foods were "supposedly" made without cheese and peanuts or peanut oil. She would rather take her own food from home, which she was sure did not contain any of those harmful things in them, to eat for lunch. Besides, it was a lot cheaper too. Plus, it gave her and her mom something to do in the kitchen other than worry about her general health.
Still, there were certain things she liked eating from the cafeteria, such as the salad from the salad bar. She plucked out only the best lettuces and tomatoes, using a light balsamic vinaigrette dressing to top off her salad. Her mother had packed her a turkey and ham wrap and some strawberries. They made her think about Bast when she first saw them. It was odd that while she was allergic to so many things, she wasn't allergic to strawberries. Yet, Bast was. It was funny the way things worked. And she smiled as she picked up her tray after paying and headed off toward her lunch table.
However, the world was about to take yet another funny turn. She didn't know where she had come from, but Penny suddenly found herself bumping into Savannah Sullivan. Her cheeks turned pink as she looked at the girl, the female version of Sebastian. They were such a pretty family. "Sorry Savannah. Wasn't watching where I was going there."
