"Thank you, kind Miss." He smiled taking it from her even as she sat about as far away as she could manage without going to another chair entirely. Then it gave Carter the entire center to about lay down between them (or it felt that way with the distance). "Well it is Carter's birthday, and I will never give up the chance to not think about having to get up for school again on a Sunday night." Though if it was just Carter the results of getting him out there to watch some movie that was going to bend his mind every which way sounded less exciting. "Can't say that I actually have though. It always sounded like a bit too much thinking for a movie."
Julius was glad to have the birthday boy back if only to keep him from talking forever until he made an idiot of himself. Thankfully the relief was also enough to not make him think over Carter's sitting habits. "She's also the guest around here and might prefer the end." Instead he was the one moving toward the middle of the sofa. "And now you also have the end of the sofa with the remote control. Just don't go and hog the popcorn over on your end."
