Emily nodded in agreement at his statement. She noticed he seemed a bit unsettled by the song, now she knew the lyrics could be taken as if she wanted to be more than friends with him, but she didn't mean that at all. Just the beat was really catchy and the lyrics were so different from the norm. She found if fun to sing it and sort of become a character where that song would relate to them. She listened to his song and it sounded really familiar but at that moment she couldn't place it. She was startled out of her thoughts when his fingers slipped. She gave him a gentle smile as she listened to the chord, "That is a tricky one, but what was that, it sounds so familiar but I can't remember it at all."
Emily tapped her fingers on the side of her guitar, "Well I guess we should get to why you came over today. Also I've decided I'll just sing one of my other songs, not any about Sam since we're probably going to be breaking up tomorrow. Once again our feelings were manipulated by something or someone...I'm so sick of this...it's just not really fair you know? I'm just sort of disappointed, not that we are normal again, I'm very thankful for that, the way we were acting," she grimaced, "talk about disgusting. But what I'm disappointed about it that I believe if Sam and I really decided to give the possibility of an us a chance, we'd probably make it. Well make it further than a few weeks at least." She started strumming that same nameless chord. She shook off the feeling, "So...you wanna hear one of my others, they're a bit older, but still decent I suppose?"
