Penny knew what that was like. Her house was always bustling with activity with her parents and brother. And in school? Well, she didn't have time to do much else than listen to teachers all day and take stupid tests. Though, she often popped in her headphones so that she wouldn't have to listen, both at school and at home. It was easier to concentrate when she didn't have to listen to the usual banter. Her music helped her focus somehow, even though he was practically blowing up her eardrums. So yeah, she could relate.
His hand on her stomach, though foreign, still felt good, and she tried to relax. After a moment, she pressed herself closer to him though made it seem as if she was just getting some more popcorn. The opening scenes of the movie began to play, and Penny was immediately drawn into the story as if it had been the very first time she'd seen it. She winced a few times as blood appeared on the screen though still tried to look brave if only for Bast's sake. She didn't want him to think she couldn't take it after all. She couldn't help but wish, now that the movie was well under way, that they'd played The Adventures of Robin Hood first.
