Penny winced. He was angry about the pictures? She let out a sigh. Yes, that had been a spectacularly immature thing to do, but she had to one-up Emily. She had one-upped Emily. And not that she knew much about Emily's relationship with Sam, but she knew that she actually cared about Sully. For her it wasn't just some 'I like you because you're cute and hot and because you're my boyfriend.' No, she really cared about him. She worried about him constantly and wanted to protect him at all costs, even if that meant giving up her own life for him. But yes, it had been rather immature of her.
"I'm a journalist," she said plainly, as if that was a good enough answer for where she got the photos. "And I wouldn't intentionally put you in danger. It was a stupid contest, one that I felt like for once I could win, and I guess that shows exactly how old I really am." She shrugged and ate another popcorn though she wasn't hungry any more. "Anyway, I'm sorry. I didn't give you a title, because I didn't want to force anything on you. I didn't want to force you to like me or feel pressured into being my boyfriend if you didn't want to be. I didn't know your thoughts on the matter at the time. That's why I asked."
