"Well clearly you don't know that many rock stars then. They're usually the ones with the groupies after all." He looked completely serious, but there was that twinkle in his eyes that suggested otherwise. Bast still wasn't used to all of these high praises from the one person he could always be sure would tell him when his stories sounded horrible. At least he wasn't questioning if she thought his butt looked good from all that time doing articles. One of these days he needed to start hitting the gym at least once a week. Money saved from having the roommate was helping fill out his jeans again both in the pockets and waistline.
"Pretty sure Gail is suffering from jealousy." Honestly he didn't think too much on how that might sound. It just felt like the truth that Gail wanted him back most when he had someone else he was "dating", or at the very least it was when he noticed it the most. "I've just never known her to be afraid of togas. That rabbits are going to take over the world and eat her brain because she is on to their plans, yes, but not togas."
He looked at her and back at the tv where the preview trailers were running for movies that had been in theaters ages ago. "Watching a movie?" he replied, hoping that it was the right answer.
