Bast had gotten mad plenty of times on things that he wasn't allowed to publish that seemed like they would be something important to people and yet he was apparently the only one who actually thought so. People deserved to have something that would actually make them think. He loved the rush of being on the lead of something and being able to dig deeper until he got to the bottom of things or found himself rather deep and slowly sinking if he didn't have someone to help him out. That was usually where Penny came in to make sure that he got back to the surface before he was too deep. "Well I'm not out adding notches to my bed post and trying to devirginize as many girls as humanly possible. So I would consider that being well behaved. Plus I don't use it to become insanely rich all of a sudden or turn all the water into blood." He was a nice guy by all accounts. The sort of guy you took home to meet mom and dad. The one you married and didn't just fool around with.
"Ooooh, burn." He went to put the movie in, but was less than appreciative of the comment. Then he wasn't even entirely sure to whom she was referring. Plus she had also suggested that he was going to be scared of something that she wasn't. Double burn. There was almost a small look like she had bruised his feelings a little with her comment, but not quite enough that he was going to right out pout about it. "Guys in togas could be rather fierce when they wanted to be. Or just plain scary. Haven't you seen Animal House?"
