Bast had been quite willingly up for this for a while, so there was no way he wasn't going to at least try to make her comfortable. Recent events just seemed to make it all the more important. If one got Penny to a party more than once every six months, it was a miracle so she was pretty much covered. Valentine's Day hadn't been too bad either even though he had been in a rather bad mood at the beginning. He just smiled at her before heading into the kitchen to start popcorn, lingering in the doorway of the kitchen so he could at least still be looking at her while talking.
"The Adventures of Robin Hood as it was meant to be seen in it's original black and white. If you check my shelves, you would probably think that I'm secretly campaigning to get Dawson's job reviewing whatever movies happen to be playing at the theater. Unfortunately it's just a leftover effect from a few elective classes in film history." Bast had developed a fair collection of older-than-old movies. Mostly the good ones that seemed required to have, but movies were something he liked as a relaxation rather than thinking through all of them. There were books for doing thinking. "There's also Captain Blood who could take on Jack Sparrow any day of the week."
