Okay, so Elliot had a pretty good feeling that Ethan was gay (he was fairly sure he'd heard about his dating exploits through some medium or another; the people at the country club gossiped more than he thought humanly possible), but that didn't mean he'd expected Ethan to be attracted to him, and certainly not like this. At first he thought that he was going to tell him some kind of joke, that he was pulling him closer to tell him something, but then the man's lips were on his, and Elliot's eyes grew so large they looked like they might just pop out of his head as his hands froze awkwardly in the air at his sides.
This had to be some kind of bizarre day dream, right? Elliot had only kissed one person in his life, and it certainly hadn't been spur of the moment. Not to mention the fact that this was a guy, and although he'd admitted to himself that he found men attractive as well, he wasn't exactly shouting it out to the masses. How did Ethan even know? What it obvious? He didn't think so.
But what in the hell was he supposed to do now. An older, clearly more experienced (not that it was hard to be more experienced than Elliot) man was kissing him in the middle of a laundromat! Where anyone could stroll in and see them! Elliot's poor brain was on overdrive. He wasn't equipped to deal with this sort of situation! It never happened to him! NEVER.
It did feel kind of nice, though, and his lips were slowly starting to move back against Ethan's, seemingly of their own accord. When was the last time anyone had shown even the slightest interest him? A girl might look his way for a moment, but the second he opened his mouth, that chance was over. Ethan had kissed him after he'd blathered on for a while! Maybe he wasn't quite so hopeless as he'd always imagined! Maybe he wasn't a lost cause!
Still... Something seemed off, and Elliot managed to drag his lips back from Ethan's as he looked at him with those startled eyes. Ethan's palm was warm against his cheek. "Are you... Uh. This is sort of... You know... sudden?"
