Cait smiled back and headed towards him. He was on the opposite side of the bar, but that didn't matter. She moved to him like bugs to a light, and she'd do so even if he wasn't her only connection to alcohol. She graciously nodded at the couple as they left and slid into one of the empty seats. A few people behind her made sounds and comments, but she ignored them. She wasn't in the business of caring what people thought of her.
"Hey stranger," she said, placing her clutch on the table and folding her hands under her chin. "What brings you to this fine establishment tonight?"
