He was right. Coming to terms with killing something was not an easy thing. Emma, though hard pressed to admit it, was part of several deaths revolving around the island whether she was directly involved or not. Just being a part of the project meant that she'd killed several people, and likely sealed the fates of several others. But, it was for the greater good and it was something she was able to live with. She was built different than most people, though. She wasn't sure if Macy could handle the sort of responsibility and guilt that came along with the knowledge of murder. "I guess we'll have to wait and see what George can do."
She smiled at Patrick and nodded, pausing in his doorway. "I've got to start a spaghetti sauce. It's my son's favorite." And it took at least two hours to cook right. "I'll see you later, Patrick. Send the kids my love." And with that, she scooted out the door.
