He didn't notice either, for the record. Nope. He was focusing, a little too hard, on the water hitting his face and washing the shampoo from his hair. When he was sure everything was out, and he wasn't in danger of embarrassing himself, he opened his eyes.
"You know, you're not so bad when you're not being a bitch." He wasn't quite sure what made him say it. It wasn't even really a compliment. But it was out there now, and he couldn't take it back even if he wanted to.
