Penny chewed on her lip as she watched him stumble over his own words. She just let him continue digging a deeper and deeper hole with each and every remark until he himself gave up and then-- "Sully!" He'd actually scared her there for a second with the disappearing act, and she shook her head. "You have to be careful. How many times do I have to--" She sighed. She wasn't going to give him another lecture about his powers. She worried about him enough as it was, and that could have very well proven to be a serious issue had he not gotten it under control so quickly.
It was tough getting back into the conversation after an episode like that, but Penny tried her best to return her breathing to normal. Being around him was like a roller coaster ride. She was usually on edge and nervous, but in the end, it always seemed worth it... or made her sick to her stomach. She made a face when he mentioned the Country Club as even she hated that place. "Excuse me for acting my age, but the Country Club is kind of lame, especially for a pseudo-first date-ish sort of thing." She motioned at him with her hand to get his hands off the steering wheel before he got the whole damn thing to blend in with the snow around them.
"We don't have to go anywhere expensive, just somewhere with food that won't kill me. It'd be kind of anti-climactic for me if I actually ended up dying on my first pseudo-first date-ish sort of thing."
