And then you had Bast, who joked about running for mayor as soon as he was actually old enough. Not that he had done much research into it, but the whole fact that no one seemed that interested in how the politicians around here even got elected and no one else wanted the jobs was a little more than mysterious. He didn't think he would do a half-bad job either if he could get enough of the vote. Then what would they do about it? Kill him?
