To Macy Noah most likely seemed high or unhinged, or both. He was acting erratically and his moods changed with the wind. But, inside his own head, with full (at least a full as it could be...) knowledge of what had happened in the past hour or so, it was Macy who was acting out of character - or acting as if the past nine months hadn't happened, as if her text message had never been sent, as if ... as if they were in some kind of dream. The sensation of being inside of someone else's nightmare continued to nag Noah, even as his blood pressure surged, even as he stood, nearly hysterical, yelling at the girl in front of him.
Her face changed into a sincere expression of pain. Noah felt a little bad, but shook his head at the regret and forged on. "I said, fuck you. What? It's some kind of surprise to you that you're acting like a cold bitch?"
