Travis arrived not long after, a stack of exams under one arm. Exam days were, for the most part, the same as the regular ones, but he liked to spend a little extra time checking them briefly. Average grades, apparently, with some few good grades and a terrible one. He would need to talk with that boy. And the boy made him think on yet another boy, and his heart skipped a beat as he entered the house. Carter, right. He liked that boy, and while he had allowed Makayla to decide, they needed to discuss what would that entail in their family. A new family member was something Travis would never complain about, but still, it couldn't be treated lightly.
So as he headed towards Makayla, a small grin crossed his face. "It was, as usual, a very good choice. Out of the prospective families for him...no, I don't trust anyone with him." He was going to be brutally honest. "He doesn't need fake parents, but people willing to help him in these trying times. And I believe we are the ones for the job." He then went to stand behind her, hands on her shoulders as he quietly massaged them. Even a yoga instructor could get tense at times.
