He didn't think that Laney would do anything to him even if he was now a little bit smaller than she was. He just gave Penny a look though for a long moment of 'oh yeah, that's not going to look creepy'. Then considering the Jr. Reporter sidekick was now the taller one he probably didn't have much room to talk when it came to being appropriate. Though there was still the matter of staring down a 14 year old girl that didn't sit too well with him.
Bast almost had to suggest that it sounded like she was trying to turn him into some sort of odd pet. He sighed a little and put on his saddest and most pleading face that was only amplified by his age. "Well Daddy ran out on us and mommy is really really sick so I have to get this soup home to her before she gets any worse, so please, Miss, can't you just take the money?" He shook his lower lip just a little bit for effect. Really he didn't have that many visitors. He put his face back to normal though. "Wouldn't you be more worried about someone possibly finding me though?"
There was a definite change, but it wasn't anything close to his appearance. Just the usual bit of a headache that came with picking up Penny's power, though it was fuzzier than usual. Like looking through a window that had a layer of steam on it. He wasn't entirely sure how to describe it other than being able to read Penny's power, but it was like he had to work a little harder to tell all the ins and outs. Really it almost made his head hurt worse. "... I don't even think my feet grew a little."
