It was amazing how something as simple as a kiss could make things better. Regina smiled into his kiss before Ty pulled back. She looked back at the oven shrugged her shoulders. "I experimented with pork chops and orange juice. I have broccoli steaming on the oven top and some rice just for the starch." Cooking was one of Regina's many released. Cooking was not always her best trade, but being a mother of three helped her learn enough to cover the Chambers so their finances could be spared the cost of eating for five. "The kiss was better than sugar, so I'll forgive you this time. Next time, no mercy, Ty." Reg's finger wagged back and forth slowly. "Oh and we have no kids for dinner tonight. You didn't know how disappointed I was to hear that we wouldn't have any teenagers at the table for dinner tonight." Any time she could get with Ty. She would use information that the children gave her later to check their stories for fallacies.
Kissing him once more, Regina grabbed his hands and pulled him out to the living area. "Well dinner won't be ready until another twenty minutes, so we can relax until then." Regina waited for Tyrell to take a seat so she could fall into place in his lap. Naturally, she would transition from mother into wife mode without any efforts. She laying her head on his shoulders, her fingers lightly grazed at his cheek. It was always something new in the Chambers household, so adjusting to having Ty home before bedtime was something she could accept any day. "I almost forgot how you looked, sir. I can't complain, I actually get to see the figure who presses into me at night," she said. Laughter followed shortly after. "And here I thought we were going for a round of robbers."
Guessing from the early appearance tonight, Regina assumed that the hospital shift was quite easy. "You're probably not going to get this lucky again, tomorrow, right?" Where most couples would drift, Regina supported his hard work. Given she used their basement for her makeshift office to hold private sessions, Regina was content in working if it she wasn't taking time for herself or giving to the family.
