The alarm went off at the same time it always did as he had to wince just a little as Miss Kitty got up and clawed into him a little through the comforter. He had to go into work at some point to see what was going on and probably make sure he was gone before Penny got out of school. She shouldn't have to avoid everything just because he had no clue what to say to her right now when it came to the large confession. Every day couldn't just be random snowball fights and taking down 9 year olds. Though it would make life a lot more fun. That wasn't what being an adult was about though. You had to get up with alarms and go to work, make money, and find a way to pay your rent when your roommate moved out after a month. He needed to get onto his journal and see if Fiona's roommate needed a place to go since she was moving back home. He would do that later though after he made sure that his desk hadn't been tampered with or had notes left. At least he could have someone to get him coffee rather than worry about making it after he pulled himself out of bed.
The heat was all fixed though making it a little easier to get out of bed even though his cat started meowing at him. Bast just reached over and scratched her behind the ears while passing by to go to the bathroom. She followed him though, keeping a little bit of distance like something might be wrong. He couldn't talk to cat though to know what exactly what she was complaining about or what was wrong. It would only be a matter of moments though before he knew exactly what was up.
One glance in the bathroom mirror made him scream. Thankfully not like a girl, but it was higher than his usual voice as he suddenly clasped his hands over his mouth and waited to hear if anyone had possibly heard him. Everything seemed rather silent in the apartment next door that he finally was able to breathe and slowly go back to the mirror. His tightie whities weren't exactly as tight and he had probably shrunk a little less than a foot overnight (one peek also confirmed that wasn't the only thing that had shrunk), and had to just think back through his school pictures. Maybe around 6th or 7th grade... If his landlord showed up right now he would probably have Bast in trouble for having a child living alone in his apartment. He bypassed the idea of brushing his teeth and headed back to his room and went looking through his clothes trying to find something that could fit.
There was probably one person who might be able to tell him what he had and how to fix it. Wish fulfillment? Had he seen Evan at all yesterday and done some sort of really weird time change thing and 22 year old Sebastian was now wandering around in place of his 12 year old self? Then he had all of his own memories from the past ten years... He wasn't even sure where he could go while finding that even all of his belts were too big to try and hold his pants on. There were a few bungee cords in the kitchen though that worked a little better after he rolled up the legs on the jeans a few times so he wasn't stepping all over them. The sleeves of his shirt could at least be pulled up to his wrists, adding a hoodie that covered up his hands and putting on his coat. He didn't want to risk staying here and about anywhere else would be pushing him out since it was a school day.
Sadly that seemed about his best solution. Heading to the school figuring that no one would ask him to check in since they wouldn't expect him to just be going in there. Hopefully the editor would be too busy today to check out the news room all day or he could at least try to look busy. It would also be an easy place to hopefully meet up with Penny. First he just had to figure out what to say while walking over there.
