Natalie quirked a brow at Emily's joke. "Oh, don't worry. My sneaking around days have passed. I was a bit of an expert in high school." Especially her senior year. It seemed Laney was learning to follow in her footsteps, sneaking out to see movies with Alfie. She was glad, at least, that Emily had been kidding when she had said it. She'd met some very... overly protective sisters in the past.
She coughed a little as Emily assured her she wasn't pregnant and that her virginity was still in tact. She supposed those would be the only real source of catastrophe in Evan's eyes- unless he was still struggling to grasp the idea of his little sister being felt up, which, she realized, he probably was.
"Okay?" She returned from the kitchen bearing two small bowls of ice cream and spoons. "Not your first kiss, though, right?" Emily was too pretty for that to have been the case... right? She set the bowls on the coffee table and settled on to the couch next to her. "Doesn't seem too traumatic yet."
