Seth was happy that she didn't fight him helping her up but he was shocked when she just broke down. Did he do something wrong? Did he hurt her? What was going on with her? He managed to understand some of what she was saying through her broken sobs. It was an accident...what was. He saw her eyes were focused behind him and he turned to see a gold statue that he had somehow missed. But when he was around Macy he found it hard to focus on anything but her. But back to the point it was a gold statue of a man, what the hell was a statue doing in the middle of the sidewalk. He looked at the statue a bit closer and realized he recognized the person...it was his dad. He gave a big sigh as he rolled his eyes, 'You have got to be fucking kidding me, he commissioned a golden statue of himself.' He took in the statue, it was a good likeness, but it was so weird. What a weird pose for him to be doing, it looked liked he was catching someo...his angry expression fell as all color drained from his face as it finally hit him.
He glanced down to the golden phone Macy had dropped, then the statue, then back to Macy who still had tears running down her face. Alchemy was all he could thing. Macy's power was alchemy. It was an accident. She accidentally turned his father to gold...killing him...his father was dead. Although Seth hated father, not as much as his mother but he came in a close second, he was still his father. He no longer had a father. He felt a small part of himself die inside. But his focus remained on Macy...the girl he loved. For the first time in his life Seth didn't know what to do, what could he do. His father was murdered by the woman of his dreams. Seth took his hands off of her and covered his nose and mouth with both hands and they slid down to his mouth then off as he thought. What could he do. He then came to a decision...it was the only way...he had to protect her.
Seth locked his eyes with her, "Of course it was an accident Macy, but see look," he cupped her cheeks in his hands, "I'm touching you, I'm not turning into gold." He let one hand fall as the other moved to cup the back of her neck, "I don't want you to worry Macy, I'll take care of everything, remember I told you I would always be there to protect you." Then without a second though he pressed his lips to her forehead and let himself into her mind, her memories.
Seth had gotten good at deleting the most recent memories, Kristy was a prime example. But once he found the ones involving his father and erased them. He was about to pull away when another idea came to him. He had full control over her memories...everything. All the things he wished she would forget...his blow up and how he forced a kiss on her, he could erase that, be on good terms with her. So he shut his eyes and kept pushing through her mind and he found that memory and erased it. Once that was done, Seth decided there was one last thought he wanted to get rid of. It was for the best, he was doing this because he loved her, he'd only hurt her again, Seth would never hurt her. So he skipped back a bit more and erased her getting back with Noah and everything that led up to her wanting to get back together with him. He then pulled away and turned Macy so her back faced the statue. Knowing she'd come to extremely confused Seth shook off all the negative emotions he had been feeling and fixed a comforting smile on his face,
