Even if he and Eisen hadn't been stuck in hibernation mode, Rory was pretty sure that it would've been difficult to spend his time anywhere else. He still loved his family, of course, but there were things that his brothers still didn’t really understand. The fact that their brother had been in love with another guy this whole time was understandably shocking for them (except, perhaps, to Gio). As a result, Rory was sure that tensions were running high in the Spinelli household, and he was pretty sure that his presence would only make it worse. And all of that made sense, of course. It would be stupid of him to expect everyone to just be okay with it.
Happiness or not, Rory had helped destroy the relationship of one of the island’s most loved (and hated) inhabitants, and now it was necessary that both of them retreat for a little while, waiting until everything blew over. And it would. Eventually. Lexie would move on, he was sure of it. If he didn’t already feel guilty enough, he might even have gone so far as to make sure that Lexie moved on, and quickly, but honestly he neither had the energy nor the inclination to face her, or to do that to her. The girl had been manipulated enough. For now, he was content just to be with Eisen, hiding out at his apartment and watching old movies, leaving the rest of the world to go on without them.
“Mmh...” Rory shivered hard and wrapped his arms around Eisen’s body, so glad to feel the emotions behind that kiss. Hungry as he was, the alfredo Eisen had made wasn’t quite as tempting as Eisen’s lips were right then. He laughed lightly as Eisen chided him. “Gargantuanly,” Rory returned, without missing a beat. He pressed another soft kiss to Eisen’s lips. “Titanically.” Another kiss. “Immensely.” Another, deeper this time. "Hugely," Another. “Colossally, mmm...” He was quiet for a few moments, just savoring the kisses. “God I love you,” he murmured.
