Who: Mao and Luke
What: Valentine's Day make outs!?
Where: At the dance.
When: February 14th
Rating: Medium to high?
Mao had been pretty much non-stop the whole dance, fulfilling his obligations to all the lovely ladies he promised dances with, drinking spiked punch, offending the sensibilities of proper people by grinding against Wolf, it had been a busy night so far! He was finally chased off the dance floor by a slew of slow, sappy love songs. His relationship with Wolf was not one that included slow dancing. Actually, Mao couldn't see himself slow dancing with anyone, he wasn't that gay.
His mission to make Luke jealous was not yet proven to be a success. Mao had seen his target scowling at him from across the dance floor, but that might not mean anything, Luke scowled at him anyway about sixty percent of the time he was around. Mao wondered how Felix would react to seeing Wolf with him, he had been rather cruel in teasing the guy on the journals the day before. He just couldn't help it, Felix was a much easier target than Luke. Luke always got all pissy when he was teased. Felix got all confused and more typo-y than usual, which was kind of cute, but sadly, Felix didn't do anything for him. Mao was too fixated on that stupid Lukas Fox.
Mao had decided to take advantage of the lull in danceable music to cool off. Dancing around in a suit jacket for a few hours would any anyone overheat. He left his jacket on the back of a chair, told Wolf he'd be right back, then trotted out of the banquet hall. He went out of his way to use an exit that didn't have any people clustered at it smoking, he didn't want to smell like cigarettes.
The night air was a shock against his sweaty skin, sharp with winter chill. Plumes of steam rose up with each breath and he amused himself by trying to make circles like people did with cigarette smoke. It didn't really work, though. He didn't plan to stay out for long, it was fucking cold!
