RATING: Adult
Tonight was the night. Ady's stomach was currently a butterfly net packed overfull of the insects, and as she sat in Elliot's mother's car looking out of the window at the night passing them by, she actually rested her hands on her belly to try and calm herself down. Her dress felt nice beneath her fingers, and that thought actually calmed her down a bit when she thought about how, soon, Elliot would be the one with his hands on her, noticing how good the thin dress felt against his hands. When she realized what she was thinking fully, Ady moved her hands to pull her black pea coat tightly around herself, as if shielding her body from what was to come. Oh goooooooods in the sky. These were the last several minutes of her life that she'd be a virgin.
They were also the last several minutes that she would keep her biggest secret, and she let go of her coat with one hand to touch Elliot's arm, wanting to hold his hand as they drove. Ady had to keep reminding herself that everything was going to go smoothly. They would get to her house and everyone would be out, she'd show Elliot her strange ability and maybe he'd show her one, too, and then they'd … do it. And it would be wonderful.
"We're here," she mumbled, just loud enough for Elliot to hear, as they pulled into the McDermott house's driveway. It took her a few moments to feel confident enough to let go of Elliot's hand, but she had to in order to get out of the car. When she did, she noticed her knees felt too weak for her comfort, but somehow she still made it to the front door, fished her key out of her coat pocket, and let them into the darkened house.
"Looks like nobody's home," she whispered back to Elliot, and reached for his hand again.
