Je ne peux pas être jalouse...Je ne peux pas être jalouse...Je ne peux pas être jalouse...Je ne peux pas être jalouse... It didn't get to repeat in her mind much more, because eventually, her brother was coming to the door and opening it. She was secretly glad. Had she gone over the phrase too many times, she likely would have ended up saying it out loud, and Eisen would have been able to understand. Forgetting about that, Aren smiled softly, tucking her phone away in her purse. "Hi, Eisen." She walked in once he'd stepped aside, her hands tucking comfortably in the pockets of her jeans. "I texted you when I got out of class...but it didn't click that you weren't going to answer until I was about halfway here. Sorry if I'm interrupting anything." She really didn't want to intrude. Most especially because it was Valentine's Day. It was quite possible that she would cut her visit short so that they could get back to just being with each other. And she could get back to French homework and hoping that her parents wouldn't be at home to bother her for most of the evening.
"Hi, Rory," she said as she walked further into the apartment. Since it seemed that the two of them were occupying the couch, she sat in the chair. "It is a moot question, I suppose. But still, I figured that you might like some more docile company. At least for a little while." She tucked a bit of her hair back behind her ear. "I don't want to impose on your Valentine's Day."
