"Oh, I don't know," Rory countered. "Remember Bad Movie Night: Musical Edition? I thought he did well in Hairspray. Maybe the moral of the story is to never cast John Travolta in anything where he has to be serious. And, you know, male." Rory smiled as he spoke, savoring the feel of Eisen's fingers in his hair. His own fingers, in the meantime, were gently massaging Eisen's free hand. Really, Rory was focusing much more on Eisen than he was on the screen, and realistically it would probably be that way for quite some time. It was likely that the novelty would eventually wear off, but Rory was sure that it would be a very, very long time before he ever got tired of Eisen's touch. In fact, maybe it was premature, but he was pretty sure that he would never get tired of that at all.
Rory jerked a little too when Aren knocked at the door, but as Eisen's moved toward it, he said, "Don't be scared. Anyone after us wouldn't bother to knock first, right?" It was solid logic, at least. If Nick McDermott was going to come and skin them alive, he was pretty sure that he wouldn't stop short of breaking the door down, much less knock on it. Even so, he visibly relaxed when Eisen told him who it was. Aren. Good. She was one of the few people who'd been on their side ever since the beginning.
"Aren!" Rory exclaimed as she entered, actually managing to sound enthused. (It was rather easy, considering that the remembrance that at least one person on this island didn't hate them was a damn good thing to be enthusiastic about.) "I would ask you what brings you here, but that seems like a rather moot question."
