Amy's sadness, of course, only fueled her own, which prompted more tears out of Angie. She felt a little silly, being so easily manipulated, but at the same time, the more she exposed herself to Amy, the more she understood what was happening. Angie wasn't the kind of person that let her feelings take the best of her, and the irony of the situation was absurd. Still, there was little she could do to defend herself in the state she was at the moment. So Angie cried for a couple of minutes, just letting the feelings burn themselves.
"When I got everyone's feelings at once I kid of did", managed to say when her voice steadied. If she had managed to swap her feelings around with Amy -or at least she believe she had, considering what had happened a moment ago- she should be able to level them, right? To calm down her sister and to calm down herself. "Shortly after we turned fourteen", continued as she took deep breaths; slowly but steadily Angie's own sadness started to shift, and at the same time affect her twin, although the best she could manage was to left the both of them teary eyed, although more in control.
