Complimenting Amelia was a sure way to get her to attach herself to your hip and be part of your body for the rest of your life, because that is how the girl gets when anyone throws something nice in her face. Words like that will always be like sex to her. Until of course she actually experiences the real thing. But for now words will get her off in a happy, little glowing way. If Gio was going to compliment her, it was a good thing he didn’t. At this time, anyways. Who knows what would have happened to him after he did it.
She couldn’t help laughing after hearing him apologize for something that never even crossed her mind as if he was making fun of her weight. She actually liked the weight she was at right now. Not too skinny like a walking stick figure and curves that will have any boy looking her way. Hey, being short had its ups a lot when you really sit down and look at it. But tonight wasn’t the night to gush about the weight she was at. Or even how much her platforms weighed, but the thought of them being heavy did come across her thoughts before she started busting out the moves that will cause a lot of people to look at them.
Before she turned her back to him and did the wiggly worm movement, she chuckled and said, “That is why we’re unique and should live on a different planet.”
Her dance moves were so random, they didn’t sync well with whatever Gio was doing when she finally turned back to him. She would do some more complicated moves, but with the shoes she was currently wearing… she wasn’t in the mood to go to the hospital with a broken ankle. The things she wore were over fifty bucks! She wasn’t going to let any doctor go near them with tools that could easily rip through the thick material like butter. So, she kept to the classic moves where all she needed to do was wave her arms around and shake what her momma gave her.
