George was right about something. It was awfully hot in that room, though Janey wasn't entirely convinced that it was the room exactly. After about a handful of chocolates went into her mouth, Janey took a seat and looked around. She had always liked chocolates, but she never remembered liking them so much that she just couldn't get enough of them. Her eyes landed on George, and suddenly, it all made sense somehow. She slipped another piece of chocolate into her mouth as she eyed George from bottom to top.
Why hadn't she ever noticed George before? The way her body curved in all the right places. The way her fiery red hair bounced giddily on her shoulders. The way her eyes seemed to be able to look right through anything to see what was beyond. "Hey," Janey heard herself say, "Come sit down over here." She scooted over a little and crossed her legs. When had she become so attracted to George?
