Wolf began to shake his head, unable to think of how to reply to Axel's question. Matters of love (or at least romantic intentions in general) were so complicated and personal that even someone good at giving advice might not be able to make any difference at all.
But then Axel changed everything. Wolf was just able to read Axel's lips. It was a bit difficult, but he caught the three words. Somewhere in the back of his mind he was trying to convince himself he'd seen wrong, but what else could Axel have said?
"It's not her?" he asked, unable to say anything else.
