Generally speaking, Ben wasn’t nosy, but this was different. Maybe it wasn’t so much about getting to the bottom of why Rory wasn’t interested in Fiona anymore. Maybe it was about finding out about this... apparent talent he had. Because for all intents and purposes, Rory’s denial should have satiated him, should have been enough. He’d sounded convincing.
