Jen frowned a little and took to leaning back against the desk directly adjacent to where Wes was sitting. She lifted her knee and pressed it against the side of his desk, mainly to keep her balance. It only occurred to her later that it could be construed as something else entirely. In truth, she'd been asking about problems with his test, though she knew he was an observant one, and his vigilance would not go unrewarded.
She took a breath and looked down for a moment, collecting her thoughts as she formulated a proper response to his question. "My husband and I... we often don't see eye to eye on certain issues, mainly my daughters. He believes in a more strict way of disciplining them, whereas I would rather they trust me to come to me with whatever problems they may have. It's been an ongoing battle for quite some time now."
