"Geeze, really?" Sam glanced up from where he was crouched, scratching Irulan's ears and gave Emily a wide-eyed look. "You gonna make me stay?" He asked, raising one quizzical eyebrow at her.
When she mentioned Chinese food--the whole reason for coming over in the first place, really--Sam uncurled himself from his crouched position, and stretched, following her to the phone and accepting the menu from her. Poor Irulan would obviously have to wait for more ear-scratches. Food was much more pressing. "Well what did you want?" He asked. It wouldn't really do for them to order the same things. Variety was the spice of life, after all.
