It was strange, going to hang out with a girl he didn't know all that well. To go watch Disney movies and eat Chinese food. Sounded kinda like a date, didn't it? And not just like. A date. But like something you'd do with someone who'd been your girlfriend for a while. Sam wouldn't know. He hadn't really had a real girlfriend since... He couldn't remember. Obviously it'd been a while.
But at the same time, it didn't feel that strange. Emily was cool. They talked sometimes. Plus she was pretty cute. What was more weird for him, was driving his piece of shit car to her incredible house. It made him feel out of place, that was for sure. As she stepped out of he drivers side he took a deep breath, eyes wide as he took in the house. "Shit." He breathed. It wasn't as if he lived in a cardboard box, but something about houses that belonged to people who obviously had money was always... Well, a little breathtaking.
He knocked on the door and shoved his hands into his jean pockets, trying to appear nonchalant as he waited for Emily to get the door.
