Gio wasn't sure what to do or say after Rory so readily admitted that he had made Glory kiss him. Half of his brain was in awe that his brother could actually do that kind of thing at all, and the other half was registering severe disappointment. "That's … amazing," he said at first, though his shoulders soon sagged, and he closed his eyes and sighed deeply. "That sucks."
He had to think logically about it all. First of all, if Rory said Glory wanted to he had to believe him. After all, it was Rory's power. Rory had the power to sense chemistry as they'd figured out, but he also had the power to influence people. Apparently it wasn't like a love potion in that it lasted a good while, and as soon as Glory had come to her senses she'd run off. Gio was very glad he hadn't gone after her, although he wondered how freaked out Glory must be. It would be a miracle if she ever wanted to look at him again.
"It's okay," he said slowly, after a brief silence on his part. "I'm not mad, I just—" His hand came up to cover his face, fingers slipping beneath his glasses so he could rub his eye. Whyyyyy. "Does that even count as a first kiss anymore?"
