WHO: Jude and Christine WHAT: Jude being the annoying, yet loving sibling he is WHERE: Christine's house WHEN: After this RATING: PG
After receiving the text message that made his day, Jude tried to get dressed and be presentable for his darling sister, and not look like a hobo that wanted nothing but her cookies. He couldn’t decide what movie he wanted to bring with him, after he was done showering. He stood in a towel deciding between two movies. And the funny thing is he would have stood there for an hour debating.
Good thing he didn’t have an hour because the cookies wouldn’t be there if he took that long. The cookies were keeping him going, like the energizer bunny but without the battery strapped to his back.
Jude couldn’t pick which one he wanted to bring, so he threw about four movies into his backpack and quickly got dressed – of course, throwing clothing all over his room in the process. He could hear his mother now, “CLEAN UP THIS MESS NOW!” That made him cringe a little, but, it didn’t make him clean. He was on a mission! His mother should understand! Closing his door did help hide the evidence. Let’s just hope his mother doesn’t open the door to look for something. But what would she be looking for?
He asked for the keys to his mother’s car, since he didn’t own one quite yet. Surprisingly, she allowed him to take it, but she lectured him about driving safe and not staying too long. He knew the rules. But he did understand his mother’s worry. He wasn’t in the mood to drive home in the dark where ice would come out of nowhere and bite the car in the ass.
He took his time driving, like a good boy. He was so excited to see his sister he didn’t bother texting her to tell her he was here. Instead, he did his annoying way of telling her he has arrived. “Christine.” One knock on the door. “Christine.” Another. “Christine.” And another.
